THE REPAIR PROCESS

Step 1 - Estimate

Estimate Repair

An initial estimate is given based on visible damage. Additional damage may be assessed after the car has been taken apart.

Step 2 - Insurance Approval

Insurance Approval

The initial estimate is forwarded to your insurance company. A repair cost is agreed with the insurers unless the vehicle is deemed an uneconomic repair. Authorisation is sought from the insurer/insured.

Step 3 - Disassembly

Disassemble Body

The vehicle is taken apart and any additional damage or structural damage is assessed. If significant damage is found, a supplementary estimate is raised and the insurance company will need to be re-contacted for approval.

Step 4 - Order Parts

Order the Parts

We order required parts.

Once all parts arrive, the repair/rebuild process will commence.

Step 5 - Structure Repair

Structural Repair

Structural repairs must be completed first. Once the chassis of your car meets original manufacturing specifications we can proceed with the next phase of repair.

Step 6 - Body Repair

Body Repair

Time to repair the body. Our auto body technicians match and align panels and the car begins to take shape. Moving on to paint.

Step 7 - Paint

Paint

New panels are prepared for paint with primer.Computer-matched paint is applied and the final coats ensure long lasting rich color.

Step 8 - Reassembly

Reassemble Bodywork

Mechanical,electrical and trim parts are refitted after the paint process and a full vehicular operations test is performed. This test includes road testing to ensure safe vehicle operations. 

Step 9 - Detailing

Final Detailing

The vehicle is washed & hoovered to remove any dust or dirt that may have collected while your vehicle was being repaired.

Step 10 - Completed

Completed

Your vehicle is ready for pick-up! Once you arrive at the body shop a member of staff will review all work completed and make sure you are 100% satisfied with the condition of your vehicle.All paperwork is completed and the insurance excess payment made (if applicable).
