An initial estimate is given based on visible damage. Additional damage may be assessed after the car has been taken apart.
The initial estimate is forwarded to your insurance company. A repair cost is agreed with the insurers unless the vehicle is deemed an uneconomic repair. Authorisation is sought from the insurer/insured.
The vehicle is taken apart and any additional damage or structural damage is assessed. If significant damage is found, a supplementary estimate is raised and the insurance company will need to be re-contacted for approval.
We order required parts.
Once all parts arrive, the repair/rebuild process will commence.
Structural repairs must be completed first. Once the chassis of your car meets original manufacturing specifications we can proceed with the next phase of repair.
Time to repair the body. Our auto body technicians match and align panels and the car begins to take shape. Moving on to paint.
New panels are prepared for paint with primer.Computer-matched paint is applied and the final coats ensure long lasting rich color.
Mechanical, electrical and trim parts are refitted after the paint process and a full vehicular operations test is performed. This test includes road testing to ensure safe vehicle operations.
The vehicle is washed & hoovered to remove any dust or dirt that may have collected while your vehicle was being repaired.
Your vehicle is ready for pick-up! Once you arrive at the body shop a member of staff will review all work completed and make sure you are 100% satisfied with the condition of your vehicle. All paperwork is completed and the insurance excess payment made (if applicable).
